Rooney wants to play 10 more years


Manchester - Being a team with Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes makes Wayne Rooney inspired. He hopes to play at least 10 more years, until the age of 30 years.

In October, Rooney turns 27 years old. For a footballer, that age was the golden age.

But Rooney still want to play up to 10 years. The former Everton player was admitted inspired by Giggs and Scholes are still playing up to their 30s.

Despite their age is not young anymore, Giggs and Scholes still actively playing today. Giggs is now 38 years old and 37-year-old Scholes.

"I want to play as long as I can and have been there in the dressing room with the likes of Giggsy and Paul Scholes are the inspiration to do it," Rooney said as quoted by the Mirror.

"At least 10 years will be incredible. I'm not sure about doing yoga (like Giggs), but we all have different ways of life and sport science at the team's incredible."

Rooney, who is a striker several times ever played as a midfielder. He also hopes one day to be back playing in midfield, though still want to enjoy his role as a striker.

"So I'm confident I can keep playing for almost like them. I could see that one day I return to the midfield," he continued.

"I can do it, but I'm not ready. I was a center forward and I scored. I feel I have a lot of goals that I can still create."

"I will play there if I needed and I've done it at United, but my main goal is still a goal and greatest bagiam my game," he added.
