Fergie Confident Rooney Will Create 20 goals this season

Manchester - Number of goals Wayne Rooney to Manchester United at the start of the season is still small. However, Sir Alex Ferguson is confident his players could have scored at least 20 goals by the end of the season.

This season, Rooney has appeared in 11 games in all competitions. But new three goals had been created by 27-year attacker. New goals created by white dots in the match against Braga in the Champions League on Thursday (08/11/2012) pm dawn.

Rooney less productive than Robin van Persie who has recorded 11 goals. In fact, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez the more down on as a substitute was sharper and had packed six goals.

Fergie was not too worried about it. He predicts Rooney will still be able to carve 20 goals or more this season.

"Wazza will score 20 goals or more. I'm sure of that," said Ferguson in the Daily Mail.

"We have a healthy combination up front. Robin experience. Eight years at Arsenal and he came to help us at the right time., No doubt about that. Far he has scored 11 goals," he added.

"Chicharito six goals and returned to him a few years ago. Resting in the summer has really helped. He looked fresh and aggressive and escorted his run which is always difficult," said Fergie.

Last season, the Red Devils failed to champion the Premier League only on goal difference from Manchester City. By relying on the sharpness of his assailants, Fergie believes it will not happen.

"Last year we lost on goal difference and I did not expect to lose due to goal difference again and Robin might make a difference. Wayne scored a lot of goals last year and the way Chicharito started this season I am sure he will score 20 goals or more," he said.
